In this article, we're going to share that every professional, at some point in their career, has careeryou may come up against a dilemma ethicalsuch as:
Harassment:
It consists of a persistent and inconvenient persecution that targets a specific person or group, affecting their peace, dignity and freedom.
There are different types of harassment, such as moral, sexual and others. However, they are all based on the principle of persecuting and forcing someone to do something against their will through subjugation.
Harassment aims to make the harassed person feel uncomfortable, and they can develop serious traumas as a result of this type of violence.
Corruption:
It is the act of corrupting someone or something in order to gain an advantage over others by means considered illegal.
Etymologically, the term "corruption" came from the Latin corruptuswhich means the "act of breaking into pieces", i.e. decomposing and deteriorating something.
The action of corrupting can also be understood as the result of bribing, giving money or gifts to someone in exchange for special self-interested benefits.
Misappropriation:
It is an illicit and dishonest action, characterized by the use or falsification of products, documents, brands, etc. The purpose is to deceive other people in order to secure their own benefit or that of a third party.
There are countless types of misappropriation in the different areas of everyday life, from the simplest to the most complex, such as the manipulation of expenses, the detour of goods, the use of the organization's assets, among others.
In some of these dilemmas, professionals may not act in accordance with the company's code of ethics and some may fluctuate according to the circumstances and act unethically. In other words, the vast majority may be unethical in the workplace, while others follow the code of conduct to the letter in any situation.
The ethical dilemmas are numerous and the big question is: how do you know if the professional will behave ethically when faced with these dilemmas?
When we understand a person's ethical vision, we can't have expectations of a binary good/bad, honest/dishonest code, but we can identify their level of resilience in the face of such dilemmas.
The PIR (Potential for Resilient Integrity) integrity test is a management and development tool that seeks to access the resilience of professionals when faced with ethical dilemmas in organizations, supporting them in the great challenge of identifying, developing and re-establishing beacons of integrity.
S2 Consultoria is the only company in the Brazilian market that has a scientifically validated integrity test with 82% accuracy.
